Water just pours in when it rains

I have a 2020 JL 2.0. When the vehicle is sitting on level ground and it is raining when I open the door water just floods in from the above door gutter. Anybody got a fix for this?

Stick some putty/silicone etc in the end of the rain channel.

This will be my first hard top. I'm really looking forward to this little annoyance. /s How is this still an issue? The JL has been out for 4 years

It's been around even before the JL. The JK has the same issue.

Because of the design of the removable freedom panels, the rain gutter ends at a spot that causes water to run down into the vehicle when the door is opened while raining.

its not that big of a deal..... even in heavy monsoon weather its a very small amount of water that gets in..... open door get in or out and shut door..... 3-4 seconds....

normally this isn't enough water for me to worry about, but.... I did leave my door cracked open (I was at my hunting camp, and never fully shut the door after unloading) on the driver side, and after 2 days of rain, I had a foot wash in my driver side floorboard.. lmao, at least they have drain plugs in the foot wells..

Been an issue since my 2012 jk. I just pull the one plug under your feet. It will dry pretty quick.

It's not the removable freedom panels, otherwise we'd have waterfalls on both the fore and aft ends of their rain gutters. The reason is due to the foldable windshield and its lack of a continued gutter to channel water down behind the front fenders like other vehicles.
