He was going too fast and hit the hole too hard. He had poor judgement and failed the front differential.

where in that 30min video does teh breakage happen?
Partially when he entered the mud puddle, and came to a full stop. The "Coup de Grace" was when he tried to floor it when trying to get through the mud. The front ring/pinion then blew.

An expensive lesson for that driver.

Deep sticky mud can stop almost any vehicle. I recall back in the 70s an M-60 tank at Camp LeJeune that was seriously stuck in the swampy mud that was all over that base. The recovery vehicle couldn't get to it until the ground dried out several days later.

This guy is a complete fricking moron. First for blazing into an unknown mud hole like that. Second for his behavior after like it was all ok.

He reminds me of American Jeeper and the Moab accident. Could have been prevented with a little common sense.

Saw a tank in a rice paddy once. Actually, I saw a few feet of the elevated main gun sticking up above the water. Dunno if they ever did get it out.

These Broncos have the moronovirus, highly contagious cockychump variant. They should have been wearing a mask.
