No update in 9 days. Methinks it was some expensive offroading.

I hate to fuel the Bronco vs Jeep flames but I have never gone Jeep offroading and seen someone break shit and leave the trail without 5 guys diagnosing and basically fixing the issue. I was shocked when he got it to the road and was like "I don't know what it is". So odd to me.

He misjudged how deep it was and paid the price. You could've just as easily annihilated a solid axle if you'd plowed into the same puddle at the same speed in a Jeep. Although getting it home would've been a totally different story.

The owner posted another video... He says that it's the spider gear that got shredded. The dealer says that it's a sealed unit so there's no way they can just replace the internals. But everything is on backorder so he's out of 4wd until they get the parts back in.

I supposed that's one nice thing about the jeep. Part availability. Although, if you have that locker sensor that goes, it's another story!

He posted an update video. He blew the diff. Ring gear and spiders. Don't know which went first. It's not a serviceable diff. The whole diff needs to be replaced.
