Warranty length

I happen to scroll through the "My Jeep" app and noticed under warranty that it expires in 2021 yet I purchased the vehicle in april of 2019. The model year is a 2018 but it was a new vehicle. Isn't the warranty length from time of purchase and not year model and who would I contact about this issue?
