Been considering a JLUR and was wondering if Jeep’s warranty covered parts breaking while off-roading? I don’t mean putting a rock through my oil pan, but like a u-joint or axle shaft going out? How do dealerships deal with off-road use?

A new vehicle warranty is against defects in materials and workmanship of components. If you break something, that’s not covered. If something breaks or fails because it was defective it’s covered. Break a u joint from wheeling hard? You broke that, it wasn’t defective. Wheel bearings fail at 10K mikes? They were defective as they’re meant to last longer than that before wearing out so warranty replaces it.
