So far, the AEV lift feels pretty much like stock. No complaints or regrets. Adding the weight to the Jeep with everything and then the lift, I can actually run higher tire pressures in my 35s.
Figured I'd update this a bit. I bent the steering stabilizer on a trail in the Jeep Jamboree Gateway to the Cumberlands that was very wet and rocky. A trail fix to got it working fine after I was unable to turn the wheels left at all. It brought home the point that the undercarriage needs work. So, the follwing was recently added:
A Baja Designs S2 chase light to the rear AEV tire carrier
AEV protection rings to my Borahs - something I should have done when I ordered the JL370. My mistake!
Artec aluminum skid plates
Welded Artec JL front LCA skids
Artec LCA rear shields
Artec front axle CAD skid
Steer Smarts stabilizer bracket
AEV steering stabilzer so that I don't take any chances with the rebent, trail fixed standard AEV stabilizer.
Installed the grill guards on the AEV 7000 front lights.
Before I had the above work done, I had taken full advantages of the deep Stellantis discounts on their leftover 2023 vehicles and got a new Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve and Gladiator Mojave. The Gladiator Mojave has a build thread here.
The work on both the JL & JT were, of course, done at Mount Zion Offroad. I trust them with all of my modifications.
