In all fairness, he didnt buy anything off of you. Obviosly you gave him the doors and hoped he would pay.

Lesson learned-payment first then merch.

I did unfortunately, he said he had a kid with cancer, so I agreed to paying half within a week. Weeks dragged on and he only ever paid me $150 coming up with excuses days on end.

Never give merchandise until full cash payment is recieved.

Whenever I sell items it is cash only and first come first serve. Someone may be coming at 4 to pick it up, someone else says they will come at 3, sorry 4 you are out of luck.

There are many "buyers" out there that will give a sob story or try to keep you waiting for weeks with no intention of ever picking up the item etc.
