In your video you mention that the zeon synthetic rope has the red wrap overlay to indicate end of line, but I though it was also used as an extra heat barrier to protect the winch line from heat the drum may build up during use...any truth to this?

Yes, it also acts as an extra heat barrier to help protect the rope from heat build-up.

I have both on different vehicles.

I personally think a good point is.. if the wireless fails on the zeon there is No hard wire backup.

Better off adding the wireless option on the regular winch, vs going with an only wireless system.

When working the zeon is nicer, but it need a hard wire backup controller.
