My Jeep has the OEM steel bumper group but of course that means we need to spend even more money on a plate to install a winch on this winch-ready bumper. Thanks FCA! Anyhow…
Are there any differences between the Mopar Winch Mounting Plate and the Warn Winch Mounting Plate? I’ve read that the Warn plate moves the bumper forward 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I’ve already put a Rock Jock towing mount on the steel bumper and that just bolted right up with no issues. I’m wondering if the addition of a winch mount is going to foul everything up, and if so would I be better off staying with a Mopar plate on the off chance that it doesn’t affect the location of their own OEM steel bumper? -Thanks!
