Hi
My previous JL had a Warn Evo 10s with a Maximus 3 plate that always needed a small modification in fitment. I traded it in with the winch so I am purchasing a new one and looking to install the same winch model on the new 2023 392XR. I'm wondering if a better winch mounting plate is out there that 100% does not require any modification.
Also wondering if there are any hidden fitment issues with the 2023, or the XR versions.
Thanks in advance,

I have a 2021 with the steel bumper and a Warn EVO winch. I went with the Warn mounting plate for the Jeep and it fit great without any modifications.

I have the Warn plate with a Zeon and it’s extremely tight, but no modification. The Evo should drop right in.

I’ve also heard excellent things about the Artec plate from a friend who has installed 5 of them. He said it’s much easier to work with than the Warn, especially with larger winches.

I used the MOPAR plate, and it was pretty straightforward. No issues with interference. I don't like where the power cables come out of the rear of winch, seems to rub on the bottom of the grill, but I've got PPF on it, so for the short term, I'm ok. Good luck!

Warn winch plate on both our 392s - one with a Zeon Platinum 10S and the other with Zeon Platinum 12S. VERY tight fit as others have mentioned... only real modification I had to make was to the front skid plate bolt holes - because the plate moves the front bumper out about 3/8 inch, I had to elongate (oval) the holes a bit with a die grinder. You may be able to force them up in there but easier to just make 'em a bit bigger.

Inside the frame rail bumper nuts are the biggest challenge in the whole process because of tight clearances with the Zeon Platinum... Other models may offer a bit more wiggle room.
