We picked up our JT Launch Edition but bought our JLR the same way so before we left Petersons in Nampa, ID. we asked Kent and Derik some questions and we thought you'd like to see and hear from him directly.

Toyota in the past, just started owning a JL :D
Nice! I wish all dealers are like this one. No b.s. no games. Customers will be much happier and willing to pay more for adding more options.

Do they require you to use their financing/put no money down or any crap like that? I plan on putting $25k down on my JLUR and most likely using my own financing.

Yes, they line up financing, but you make your first payment with the $25k instead of writing them the check for the down. After 6-mo. you can take it to another bank. This is where they make their profit. Through the financing, not on the vehicle itself.

The process is straight forward:
  1. Use one of the forum's invoice/option spreadsheets then call or email Kent what you want.
  2. Kent sends you back the actual invoice pricing and discount.
  3. You initial each option you selected, you can add or subtract or make other changes.
  4. After you're happy, sign and send back.
  5. $1k deposit is used to initiate the order, which is also your down payment.
  6. If you want to add a MOPAR lift or EVO lift/skid plates or some other accessories, they can include those into your warranty and financing too.
  7. When you get there you sign and drive or help arrange for shipping.
If you have a trade-in, they do that too. We sent pictures of our trade and settled on a price. When we showed up it was the price. No games. This was also refreshing.

So what kind of APR are they able to get with their financing? I understand it's credit based, but assuming good or excellent credit, what are people seeing from them? Thanks!

I wonder if they have a dealership like this in New York City, Queens to be specific??? Any leads? Thanks

Did they remove the video?
Seems that way - down for me too.
Petersons asked to take it down since Kent wasn't wearing a company polo shirt when we recorded it. We're going to be on TFL Truck with Andre Smirnov in a few days and talk about the buying experience there.

It’s a shame the video is down due to a logo on a shirt.

Just add the dealer name in the title! Even more effective.

I’d love to see it, any chance you can send me a private link? I’m on the market.

Here's the process:
  1. You spec the order with Kent ([email protected])
  2. Kent sends you back a deal sheet with your options spec'd
  3. Discount is listed + dealer fee + docs ($300-ish)
  4. $1k deposit that also is your downpayment
  5. Finance is where they make their money, they source the loan. You need to make at least 6 payments before refinancing or paying off. Interest rates are market based on your credit score.
  6. You make a big first payment, like a downpayment big, and then continue to pay or refi after your 6th payment.
  7. If you don't want to drive/fly he will help setup up 3rd party delivery

The hardest part of this is waiting for your JL/JT to show up. If you do go this route tell Kent we sent ya!
