Don’t we all? Haha. But for real. I have the teraflex st3 lift on my jeep now and want to turn it into the st4. All components between the two kits are the exact same except the springs and shocks. I’m either going to do the 4.5 springs from teraflex or just add a 1” spacer on all 4 corners, if I can find a 1” spacer anywhere. So that’s the easy part. Now onto the shocks, the shocks that came with the st3 are for 2”-3.5” lifts. I don’t want to replace those. My question is, can I just relocate the lower shock mounts up one inch to get the shock back in spec for the 4.5 lift? Synergy sells shock relocation brackets that allow the rear to be relocated one inch and the front 2”. Would this work to allow me to keep the 2”-3.5” lift shocks I have with the 4.5” lift?

What is the criteria for new driveshafts?
Rzeppa joint angle and condition, and clearance between shaft and other components during articulation. They’re not necessarily required right away so don’t think you need to go out and buy shafts in order to install your lift. You can usually get by on stock shafts for a while

TeraFlex makes a 1.5" spacer kit:
https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/0-2in-lifts/1165200-teraflex-1-5in-performance-spacer-lift-kit

Daystar has 3/4" front spacers:

and 3/4" rear spacers:
https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/coil-spacers/kj09183bk-daystar-3-4in-rear-only-lift-kit

For the 4.5" coils:
Front: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/coil-springs/1864400-teraflex-4in-front-coil-springs-pair

Rear: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/coil-springs/1864300-teraflex-4in-rear-coil-springs-pair

Our website lists those as 4" coils, but the TeraFlex book lists them as 4.5", not sure what's up with that.

For the shocks, TeraFlex list the same shock for 2"-4.5", so no immediate problems with the shocks.

Usually when ever you exceed 3 1/2 inches of lift, you will need to put drive shafts on also. You may get away with it for a while, but if you wheel your Jeep, do not be surprised if you are replacing them.

Cool. I’ll likely just replace the springs themselves. For the shocks, I have the falcon 2.1 SP2 monotube for 2-3.5 lifts. Which are the cheapest of the bunch but still not cheap which is why I’d like to keep them.

OK, gotcha.

Since your shock is good from 2-3.5", you already have 1.5" of room to go up, plus the extra inch of lift you want will get you into the 2.5" range, which is perfect for the EVO 2.5" shock extensions. Those are my favorite of the extensions I've installed so far (Though you do have to do a little drilling to install).

If you want to stay TeraFlex, they offer a 2-2.5" extension kit. I haven't installed a set of those yet, but it's TeraFlex, they do nice stuff and those extensions look nice.
