It all depends on the transmission. What works for the TJ doesn't work with the gearing on the JK's tranny. I drove my 2012 JK on 35's for 5 years and it was great. The 5 speed auto gearing makes it work. 5.13's in the JL would likely make it so that you never touch 1st or 2nd. On my JK 4.88's are about perfect gearing for 37's. They are actually a bit too low for 35's. I'm guessing it is going to be even more so with the JL and it's 8 speed.It’s been a good while since my TJ but I could swear 37s were at the sweet spot on 5.13s
