So I got these on this morning and was wondering what you guys thought? I like it, but I dont. I didnt want to be another black wheel Jeeper but it might just sadly be better.

Both are good looking, but the black looks better.

Have you thought about making the tan area a gray color? Something that would compliment the Granite Crystal? Maybe even a red to tie in the lettering, stitching, and dash panel.

^ this is what I was thinking. The black ends up making the style of the wheels totally disappear, but I don't think the tan is a good match. A gray or silver seems like a better option.

I do have gunmetal plasti-dip. Hate the stuff tho. I just stink at it.

I agree the black hides too much detail.

I voted for tan because there was no other option. I’d go grey.

Came here to hate on the sand, but seeing it... actually pretty nice. It just doesn't work with the granite. I'm with @Adam0311 and @MALL R8D on this one. As it stands, black's probably better, but those tan wheels in a grey hue would top the black.

I'd run the black wheels until you can enlist an "artistic" friend to help plastidip. Unleash the power of friendship [read: beer]!

I added a morning photo. They're looking better in different light, def more flat in person. I think they look worse in the photos

Now I see why you posted the poll; first pic was kinda misleading (lotta colors are like that--punkin is the best example). Formally voting sand. :like:

I have to be honest, once I saw the vote was so close, I changed mine, so that it would be split. Really I think both look good, and an argument can be made for either. Ultimately, it comes down to your preference, although, I’m sure I’m not the only one who appreciates your poll, and allowing us to design part of your Jeep. Good luck with whatever you choose to go with. With that being said, keep looking for ideas, even if they seem wacky from the outset, sometimes you find the coolest stuff, when you look outside the perceived box.

Thanks for the kind words. The more I love at the same, the more I like it. I think maybe the sunset photos that I took cast an uglier shade of sand on the wheels and perhaps that made it look worse than it is. I don't know that all black would make it look much more "better" but I love opinions.

I'm a fan of black wheels but seems like everyone goes with black wheels. I'll be ordering a 2019 2dr JLR in silver and I was thinking about going with the Mopar Bead Lock wheels but waiting to see if they do the silver with black ring like the Mopar display. Maybe even paint the screw tops Rubi Red.
