Looking to set up a switch panel soon and the voswitch jl400 caught my eye. Has anyone installed this in their rig? I have absolutely no wiring experience so the easier the better. Can anyone chime in on the panel? How was it to install
Very easy install. I’ve got the JL300, but I ran the black wire for the switches through a grommet in the fire wall next to the brake master cylinder. You’re basically running power to the switch panel, and ground and a trigger wire for the ignition if you want it to turn off with ignition.Looking to set up a switch panel soon and the voswitch jl400 caught my eye. I did the same, you can pop the grommet out and run it all through super easy.Very easy install. Did u replace the original leds in the dash cluster or is it my eyes are seeing the blue color there?
I’d say it took me an hour and half install, but that was only because I had to walk back and forth for tools and did a little extra tidying up for the wiring.
Just your eyes sorry, I did that on my old 97 Chevy though! LolDid u replace the original leds in the dash cluster or is it my eyes are seeing the blue color there?
Those switches have blue backlight (i believe) but I think it has color options one can choose also.. I was surprised at how the gauges look so bluishJust your eyes sorry, I did that on my old 97 Chevy though! Lol
Just ran across this thread. Do you have any pics of how your aux lights are wired to the VOSwitch? Thinking about getting one. How do you like it?Very easy install. No lights installed but I wired my halos and the trigger wire for my arb through the voswitch. So far I love it. Only gripe is that the panel is sorta flimsy but not a huge deal.Just ran across this thread. Do you have any pics of how your aux lights are wired to the VOSwitch? Thinking about getting one. Thanks for the reply! I'm debating between this and the LASFIT Aux bank. Major difference for me is that the Lasfit connects lights like the OEM mopar one which means connecting two wires together. LASFIT also looks like the OEM model but has 4 switches instead of 6. I like how the VOS connects light wires better. I'll see what prices Amazon has for Turkey week in late November and make a final decision. No lights installed but I wired my halos and the trigger wire for my arb through the voswitch. Def recommend the voswitch. I have place holders for lockers but I definitely like having 6 banks to choose from. Thanks for the reply! I'm debating between this and the LASFIT Aux bank.
