vLinker MC+ will not show in Bluetooth

Have a new 2022 JL 2 Door with V6 and Manual trans, Trying to setup and use JScan app with vLinker MC+ bluetooth adapter, Have the security bypass cable plugged in and plug in the MC+ and hit the small button on the adapter and the bluetooth light begins to flash fast, have ignition and accessory ON, go to bluetooth on the phone and nothing ever shows, deleted the phone from bluetooth connection jeep, same result. have tried 2 different adapters. I can plug in my scan tool to the security bypass cable and read DTC's. What might I be doing wrong????????? attempting this with an iphone Xr running latest IOs. The bluetooth on the phone will connect to uconnect on the jeep

Maybe you didnt get the right device.

I had to buy another one for it to work.

it has to be BLE 4.0 , not the wifi one for it to work.

Got the PC out and did the firmware update on it to version 2.2.278 My PC and my macbook pro only see an andriod bluetooth connection the iphone will only show me a VT210 device and it won't make a connection

I had to actually start the engine to get mine to show up the first time.

Starting one time did resolve the issue, Not sure why but now it works all the time
