Thanks! I've had others recommend that too.
BTW... If anyone has a pic of a JLUR with the 2" Rubicon Express or a leveling kit and 315x70x17 or 35x12.5x17's, feel free to post. Trying to keep it as low as possible and still have articulation. Thanks!

2.5” lift and 37s would be perfect for wheeling. Low center of gravity and nice size tires. The STT Pro are amazing. Of course they have some noise because they are a true mud terrain but I have them both in my land cruiser and my Jeep. They are tough as nails and have a quality ride for how aggressive they are. If your are looking for comfort and quiet, stick with the bfg ko2
It looks like you added a bunch of sipes to the middle tread blocks, for snow and ice I assume. How are they working out in that regard, and where did you get them done?

That is part of the design of the STT Pro's. Excellent design.

STT Pro's vs BFG KO2 in same size... Will the BFGs be more quiet by a noticeable amount? Will they be smoother on road by a noticeable amount?

Thanks, that’s what I thought but their website doesn’t show a 35 for the 17 inch wheel. Closest I saw was the 315/70. Shame they don’t have a 285/75.
From the video, they are the 315/70/17 which are considered 35s even though they measure 34.5" in actual diameter (most so called 35s are actually 34.5" in actual size).

What I don't understand is, according to their website, a tire that is 1" smaller and almost one inch narrower (the 295/70/17) has the exact same weight as the 315's. I don't see how that is possible!

This is not the only tire I have seem like this either. The Firestone Destination MT2 has almost the exact same weight for both size tires too (only 1 lbs difference between them), even though they have the same size differences between them as the Coopers. I don't get it!

From Cooper's website:

LT295/70R17 121\118Q E Load, 12" section width, 33.46" - diameter, 66 lbs - weight
LT315/70R17 121\118Q E Load, 12.6" section width, 34.57" - diameter, 66 lbs weight

Agreed, either the weights are not exact or for some reason the internal make up is heavier on the 295 which doesn't make sense as they have the same load rating...

I ran it without the spacers and it seemed fine. I didn’t do any really hard trails but I flexed it out and didn’t hit anything I could see.
How have you found the difference in gas mileage and power between the stock tires and the new 35s? How off is the MPG and speedo gauges?

Seem to work great. Les Schwab does them and so does peerless tire.
