A couple days ago I started to notice a very loud rattle under the driver's side dash when going over bumps.

It happens to be that the brake pedal has a play and bounces off.

Anyone else having this issue? Are there any solutions?

Here"s a video showing the play:

I just saw this (new to the forum). Mine does the same thing and two dealers have told me it's normal. Did you ever hear any different or find a solution?

I’ve owned three Wranglers so far and all had the brake pedal rattle. I expect my new one will be the same.

I know this is an old thread but for anyone that has this, I think there's a small bushing or rubber/plastic part that breaks off on the brake pedal assembly and allows it to move more than intended. About a year ago I noticed the part fall off of my pedal assembly. I found where it went and clipped it back on but it eventually snapped in half and I never put it back, resulting in a wiggly/noisy pedal. I think you could probably strategically cut and stick some adhesive felt pads around the pivot point and the point where it contacts the brake cylinder on the firewall and quiet it down and that's what I plan on doing when I get a second.
