Yeah, but don't you think they will come out with a JL version? I don't see a showstopper there, do you?Yeah that won’t work anymore as the grab bar is different.
Oh I’m sure they will come out with an updated mount.Yeah, but don't you think they will come out with a JL version? I don't see a showstopper there, do you?
I don't own one, so I can't. I just found it on the website. I would assume any mic would fit.@AZCrawl any chance you could share a pic of the mount without the mic attached?
Will the mount work with other mic's besides the Cobra? (assuming so, but don't know what the Cobra mic is like)
While the new carrier is improved, it was confirmed that none of the new JL(U)s have the HD carrier yet that the old Recon and other Special Editions had.So here is the latest. Does anyone know if the Rubicon JL comes with the Heavy Duty Carrier mentioned?
“Thanks for the email. If the bracket doesn't fit we will happily exchange it for the one that does - once we have it. If you haven't already, I recommend taking off the spare tire and being sure that the mount won't work. Jeep has traditionally outfitted the Jeeps with two different tire carriers, the standard and the HD. The heavy duty carrier is made by Teraflex and branded for Jeep, so the mounts may work for that carrier.”
Really appreciate your reply! Thank you! While the new carrier is improved, it was confirmed that none of the new JL(U)s have the HD carrier yet that the old Recon and other Special Editions had.
The connections are there inside and out. I used 2 for my winch in/out control and the other 2 for lights.Well this looks promising!!! I will confirm tonight or tomorrow if these connections are there.
Well I see wiring but can’t seem to find what the manual is stating:
That’s great news! Could you be a little more specific. If you look at the video, are they in that area? If so did you have to remove the plastic wall to get to them? The connections are there inside and out. I used 2 for my winch in/out control and the other 2 for lights.
Oh man!!! When it said outboard foot well side, I thought they meant on the right side,They are hanging loose under the dash passenger side near console.
Under the hood they are directly beteween the battery and fender
I found them under the Dash/Glovebox just as you said Jericbarg, thank you!!! Did you only use the ones under the hood? Are they marked at all under the dash; I couldn't tell. They are hanging loose under the dash passenger side near console.
