Thanks. I actually live in miami. So i use it as cold as possible or not at all. I have no in between to be honest. So as long as it is cold, i am fine with it. Thank you so much for the reply.
From my experience you'll be fine based on that climate (Chicago Summer was fine before I installed sensors, cold weather is actually what made me realize the issue the first time I did the install). But since you have a Sport S, if you have automatic headlights, I'm fairly certain the sensor install is essentially plug & play

Thanks you for taking the time to explain. Can't wait to get the upgrades in

Sorry to bother you again. I have one last question.
My car hasthe safety group, so i would need the parking assistance center stack. Is this part number ( 6BE18DX9AC ) the correct one? From what i can tell it has what i need (Hill Descent Control, ParkSense Rear Park Assist System). I am ordering it from an OEM distributor site, but they say they cannot guarantee fitment and do not accept returns. Thanks again

I’m not sure on that one, I had a completely bare bones Sport, so I didn’t look too much into the stack. But if you go back in this thread I’m certain the part numbers for the different stacks were listed all together in one post

I finished the 7" and HVAC upgrade on my 2018 Sport S this morning. Somewhere in this thread it said the JScan setting was Dual Zone MTC. That didn't work on mine. For me the setting that worked was Dual Zone ATC. Pretty sure that's for Automatic Temperature Control. It's all working. Great upgrade. I have a 5" radio available if you're looking for something to smash with a hammer. :)
Hi, Which Center stack did you order? I have the safety group. Trying to make sure that the 6BE18DX9AC, is the part i need.

I bought 6BE28DX9AC. I dont have safety group or cold weather. To be sure check with Benny @allmoparparts-com, forum sponsor. He helped me get the right one.

I swapped my 5” stereo for the 7” set up, bought the center stack set up and a have a tazer. Can someone tell me how I use my tazer to reprogram the jeep so I can use my center stack set up? While it’s plugged in I’m only able to use the stereo function I’m not able to use any climate controls at all.
I have the exact same problem. None of the climate or ac buttons are working. What do we do?

Not sure with Tazer, but with JScan, you go to the following: Adaptations -> MISC SETTINGS (HVAC Configuration). Change the HVAC configuration to the compatible control stack that you installed (most likely dual zone)

thanks Wolfman. Couple questions. I order a Bluetooth obd and download Jscan. I have Sport S and just wanted volume button back. With this new center stack do I need the hvac module and sun sensor? Or should this do the trick?

the sun sensor / cabin temp sensor will make the AUTO feature work much better during the colder months... considering it looks like you're in Florida, you might not need to use the heat much so it might not be that big of a deal. Without the additional sensors, your HVAC will either blow hot or cold and not very much in between.

This install is annoying me haha. The heat is crazy hot even when it’s set at 70. I don’t have the sensors because I can’t quite figure out what I need and where to get them. Anyone have a consolidated list?
