Upgrade tire size?

Finally got my dream Jeep! 2020 Rubicon unlimited 2.0T! Only my 4th Jeep...

Anyways, as you already know, it’s equipped with 285/70/17 tires and I want to up the size with no additional lift on the stock wheels (may change all this later). I’m not sure the exact sizes and specs I can run. I’m sure someone on here knows. My last Jeep, Charlotte, was a Chief blue Oscar Mike edition, (who I miss dearly) and I added a 3” lift with 35/12.5/18 and had to add spacers due to rubbing.

Any recommendations??

Some may think I’m crazy but I added 295/70 and it is a little taller than stock and little wider which is what I wanted. Same as you I didn’t want a lift but little better. It actually drives much better now too.

You went from 285 to 295 on a new vehicle? Why would anyone call you crazy? Wouldn't it be nice if the factory let you order whatever tire size you wanted so you don't have to pay for tires twice?

Seriously! I honestly didn’t think it was much difference until they were side by side and didn’t want to quiet go to a 35 or 37 yet. Maybe one day there will be more customization on a $50k vehicle.

No. It’s still 17 inch tall but wider with different offset. The stock wheels would not push the tires out as much or make them look as wide.

A $50K vehicle isn't really that expensive anymore. The average price of a car is $35K and going up fast with technology and EV becoming more prevalent. Now if you go up to a Bentley you can choose all kinds of different options including 64 different colors.
