Doesn’t mean anything until they tell us a price. If it’s a $10k option I just don’t see it being that popular.

(if it’s comparable to the price of the eco diesel it will sell like hot cakes though)
I think America’s most wanted sold 2500ish conversion kits last year 392-hellephant. thats people spending $25000-$55000 on top of Jeep purchase. If it’s $8000 I bet Jeep sells 12-16000 in year one

Oh they’ll definitely sell. But the price will be outrageous, probably into the $70k mark for a loaded out one. And the take rate relative to the number of wranglers sold will be low. Also $8k is a pretty good guess, it’s essentially $8500 to move from the V6 to the 392 in the charger so it will probably be similar here.

It will be interesting to see if this comes with Dana 60's. No way that much power and 37's will not snap the 44's off road.

It will be interesting to see what they do to handle the power.
Likely won’t be any different from what they’ve already done with the EcoDiesel

442 lb-ft vs 450 lb-ft isn’t a big enough difference to warrant a major axle change.

I’d suspect the D44’s are maxed out at 450 lb-ft of engine output. Which is why JL gets detuned versions of the 3.0 from 480 lb-ft and the 6.4 from 475 lb-ft

I'm impressed with how well the 2.0T steps out when my right foot gets heavy. A hemispherical head V8 in the same vehicle is going to be the best kind of Stupid.

My thoughts exactly, it's already really easy to overwhelm the suspension when going full throttle on anything less than smooth flat pavement. I wonder what changes they're going to make to the suspension tuning, and whether that will adversely effect its ability to offroad.
