I don’t understand why. Very similar if not the same weight, practically the same efficiency in my experience, and the power curve starts low and is WIDE and FLAT. I have liked them both but the 392 is a no brainer to me.
^^^
I’ll explain it to you. Cost, efficiency (you’re wrong there - have numerous friends who own both...) & reliability. The KISS principle applies here.
The 392 is overkill in a Wrangler. Doesn’t make sense to me.
I can see it in a Grand Cherokee or similar SUV, but Wrangler, a niche vehicle - No. YMMV

Will Gobi make an appearance to the JL wrangler line for the 392. Any rumors on possible additional color options?

Small Block. Not the same as the 1950’s big block Hemi’s, including the early 392 big block.
Not sure any big blocks are built any longer or their modern day predecessors.

If you consider 7.4L used to be a Ford big block, and they now have a mod motor based 7.4L for the trucks that is literally 1/2 the weight and size (and still iron), better economy, better reliability, and more power it is amazing how far the ICE has come.

HEMI has followed the same path. Only the combustion chamber keeps the name alive ;)

Are we getting the 392 in the 2 door Wrangler as well?? When will we see the Wrangler Mojave edition?
