yeah no more puddles for me.

The timeline of things were

Water incident -> 1 month of Jeep not running ->Jeep runs again after meticulous cleaning/drying -> months go by without realizing my 4wd worked (I thought the Jeep was back to normal at this point)
-> I get stuck and realized my front wheels didn’t spin in 4lo/4hi -> dealership

Had no clue when my front diff went out in the timeline , but yeah lots of lessons learned

thanks for listening and everyone’s help!

Yes, I got the rear diff checked out and there was no water/damage in there.. it wasn’t fully submerged in the water as the front since I went in head first

You should replace ALL fluids if you're fording water. Engine oil, Trans fluid, transfer case fluid, both axles.

Did you change your diff fluid when that happened? after getting stuck in water up to your chest? your rear diff may be cooked if not :(
Hopefully they did everything. In situations like that we've done differential fluid, engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering, and transfer case. At least checked them all. Modern cars do seal up a little better but you can't count on everything to be completely watertight enough to resist submersion.
