Unknown Module/12V Relocation

These are pictures of the left rear panel in the cargo area of my 2018 JLU Sahara. There are two things I’m trying to determine.


1) What is the unit shown in the red box (Rear Panel Unknown.jpg)? It has a windshield washer (?) imprint on it and it doesn’t connect to anything I can see.


2) How is the left rear panel removed? I want to find out what’s underneath. I would like to relocate the 12V outlet as indicated (Left Rear Panel.jpg) to the top of the panel because the male 12V plug extends out from the outlet about 2 inches horizontally and does not allow my Alpicool refrig to lay flat against the panel.

That’s where you store rear washer fluid tube and wire harness when HT is removed.

To remove panel you need to pop up surround around seat belt (pry up with panel removal tool)

You’ll need to remove trim on cargo floor. It just pops out.

Main panel can be firmly, but gently pulled away from quarter panel.

And remove rubber seal for swing gate. Easyer with roof off but not mandatory.
