Uconnect upgrade from 7" to 8.4" -- is it plug and play install?

I have the opportunity to upgrade my 7 inch Uconnect to 8.4. The Jeep is in a local junk yard and was totaled. My question is it a plug and Play once I remove my old one? Also where do I get the security code to hook it up? Thanks

Yes, as long as it works it should be plug and play. Security code may be in the glovebox, if not you would have to get verified via VIN.
