Uconnect shut off

Just hit 1,600 miles today, and for the first time while driving down the road my Uconnect screen just shut down and went black. I was just listening to Bluetooth audio from my phone and driving as normal. Everything else was fine, and I ultimately just ended up having to push the power button to turn it back on, but still worth noting. @JeepCares

Mine shut down completely and will not even start had to take to dealer. They don’t know what’s wrong

I had this happen once when I was connected to Apple Carplay and tried to play the audio of Youtube video through the Jeep. Screen went black, all audio stopped, and uconnect restarted itself automatically. I've played Youtube videos through the speakers before and after this but haven't had it happen again.

Just a shot in the dark here: Are all the fuses fully seated? I know there is a post about the fuses being unseated, and I found that to be the case with my JLUS. Did not have the problem you describe, though.

I am experiencing difficulties as well. I started up the JL and black screen...nothing..couldnt control music, no sound, but when I turned the knob for the heat that did appear on the screen, nothing else would work. @JeepCares it has only happened twice. Lets pray its the last time it happened lol

Did they order a new radio then? If it's all dead that would make the most sense to me. The part is on restriction so they have to follow FCA protocol and contact FCA and get approval before ordering.

If it happens again, let us know. We can get this over to a Case Specialist who'll work with you and the dealership toward a solution.

I had this exact blue screen for first time 2days ago. Eventually reset itself and all fine so far.

Try pulling the fuse to reset the radio... Its f90 i believe its a 20amp... Should work if the radio freezes up... Temporary fix but it should work

Mine did this too. I couldn't get it to come back on for about 5 minutes. Then it randomly came back like nothing happened.

It's only happened once.
