Hmm. I took a 40 minute round trip, today, after accepting the update last night. Favorites worked with no issue for me. I selected a favorite maybe 6 times and each time it worked. On my ride home I left the favorites screen active and watched songs populate and then disappear when they ended. I also picked a song or two from the list and it worked fine.Hate to say it, but doesn't appear the OTA fixed the favorites...at least not on mine.
As I posted above, got the OTA last night. On the way in to work this morning, first time a favorites alert popped up, I hit it and got the "None of your selected favorites are currently on-air" or however its worded. At least it never rebooted itself, I suppose.
I've also not noticed any issues since receiving the update. Fingers crossed.Hmm. I took a 40 minute round trip, today, after accepting the update last night. Favorites worked with no issue for me. Most importantly, no reboots!
Cautiously optimistic and happy (for now)...
Yay. I just went to check my version, and Booya!
I entered my VIN in the Uconnect app and it said that my vehicle is up to date and that there are no updates available at this time for my 2020...I've also not noticed any issues since receiving the update. Fingers crossed.
That site is not reliable. It lists my VIN as having an update available. I took the time to download it, and it’s two versions old.I entered my VIN in the Uconnect app and it said that my vehicle is up to date and that there are no updates available at this time for my 2020...
I’m doubling down on this assertion. Several more trips, today, and it’s working. I do believe the OTA update fixed it.Hmm. I'm going to agree with you. Again. I also have had ZERO issues with favorites since I got the OTA update. And I drove it all day yesterday and all day today.I’m doubling down on this assertion. Several more trips, today, and it’s working. I do believe the OTA update fixed it.
Your choice, but the OTA update that was pushed on Tuesday fixed the issue for me and another on here so far. You might want to reconsider once you get the OTA update.i just canceled my xm radio service...without the favorites working i may as well listen to the radio..at least then i wont be so frustrated and disappointed and radio is free...this should not be this difficult to resolve
glad it working for some so far...once i see enough success im sure ill go back..hopefully i get the ota update soon but nothing yetYour choice, but the OTA update that was pushed on Tuesday fixed the issue for me and another on here so far. You might want to reconsider once you get the OTA update.
It screwed up my saved radio stations and I had to re-program them, but all of my favorite artists/songs that I had previously saved were unaffected.Appreciate all the info from you guys. So far I have not received the update notification- (2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland).
Any of you guys who have received the OTA update driving a Grand Cherokee by chance???
Also- have you had any negative issues of any kind after accepting the update?? On my old Grand Cherokee, the only time I tried doing an OTA update it completely screwed up my system. I would up with software designed for a completely different Jeep vehicle- lol
So one more dumb question on the OTA update- it says the ignition should be off. So you just turn the car off and then start the update?? The screen does not turn off after 10 minutes like usual? Does it stay on the screen giving you the update progress % even with the car off???Because I pulled into a parking lot and turned off the vehicle and as soon as I did a message popped up on the Uconnect screen that said something to the effect of "an over the air update is available for your uconnect system. To install, your car must be in park with the ignition off. Would you like to begin the update? Yes/no". As I updated a progress bar was on the screen through the entire update and it took all of 40 minutes or so.
As for the version of the update, going to apps, settings and system does not tell me the software version. If there's another way to find it out via button presses let me know and I'll check. Oh, and I did NOT have any kind of case open about it.
Correct. Turn off ignition. Screen will stay on for whole 35 mins.So one more dumb question on the OTA update- it says the ignition should be off. Ok, so I spoke too soon. Today while driving my favorites started disappearing again. So it's not fixed for me.I'm going to agree with you. Again. I also have had ZERO issues with favorites since I got the OTA update. And I drove it all day yesterday and all day today.
