Having seen a recent post about a Tyger rear bumper and it getting good feedback, I stumbled across their tire carrier and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it yet? It seems pretty reasonably priced for a relocation/reinforced carrier. The Amazon reviews all appear to be for two other Tyger products, so they weren't very helpful.

Edited to include the price: $289

I couldn't find any reviews at all or anyone who tried it so I decided Id be the guinea pig. At half the price if it works out great, if it doesn't Im not out a ton. Mine will be here tomorrow.

Iā€™m not a rock crawler , maybe some trails here in CO, so I donā€™t need EXTREME heavy duty. Iā€™m on 35 so weight isnā€™t a big issue. The only thing I can think that might not be up to standard would be the hinge pin assembly, but weā€™ll see. Iā€™m hoping Iā€™m pleasantly surprised.

Packaged well, no damage, looks like a decent product. Possibly get it installed this weekend.

To be flat out honest boss, I wouldnā€™t know if they were good or bad without trying them. Iā€™ve never bought anything like this before. I will take some up close pics of the hinges and you can decide for yourself.

Thinking of using this to create some mounting points for rotopax mounts.

Hereā€™s a couple close ups of the hinges.
The instructions on this seem to be very well thought out and easy to follow and read. Not just a vague print out of a pdf or something.

One thing I like and part of the reason I went ahead and bought this is there isnā€™t some giant logo welded into or cut out of , for the company. In fact, with how heavily itā€™s coated you can barely even make out the tiny Tyger emblem

Cant comment on the tire carrier but I did just install a set of Tyger side steps this past weekend. Same coating and overall very nice steps! I am happy with how they look and the price...i think about $270 all in from Amazon.
