There have been times in the past when auto makers produce a limited run color to how they perform in drawing customers. I bought a new ‘94 GMC that was one was one those. I didn’t care about the color when I bought it, just how it was equipped. The next year that teal color was very popular when it was released, but they tweaked it and lightened it a little.

Another guess is that a company ordered a run of them in that color or they could be contest vehicles. Guess we’ll see.

I think it will be the blue from the Pacifica that was posted earlier in the thread. When I first noticed the color on the 2 door order guide I did some googling. If you do an image search for Río Tascadero it brings up lapis lazuli as it's commonly found in the area.

Some Jeep dealers have Tuscadero loaded onto their websites. Unfortunately, completely not helpful for determining what the color actually is.
