I've been using 303 on my plastic but I heard that Ice wax has UV protection as well. Does anyone use Ice on their plastic? If so, how well does it work? I like 303, but life would be a little easier to just wipe down the JL with Ice.

I used ice on my JK and my daughter is using on her JL. It worked great on my JK. I learned about 303 on this forum, and I'm using 303 on my JL. Way too early to make the call. On my JL I am using ice on my plastic hood vents because 303 tends to look messy when you get it on metal.

I have a soft top and still use 303 on that but I might switch to Ice on everything else.

I've used it for a long time-especially on black because it leaves no residue. Works on paint, plastic and glass

My JK is 11 years old and I've used Ice on everything but the soft top and fenders. I probably should have used it on the fenders, because I now have treat them with Turtle Wax Trim Restorer every 6 months. The paint looks brand new, no exageration, exept, of course, where there are scratches or dings caused by off roading and a few careless folks in parking lots. I use it on headlight, marker light, and tail light lenses, too. They look clear as new with no fading. I've even used it on the windshield and side glass and it works like Rain-X. What I like best about it is that you can put it on in direct sunlight. In fact, the hotter, the better. One tip is that if you see smudging in it and don't want to throw your elbow out buffing it with a microfiber, either rinse it off once with water, or take a damp towel and wipe it down. That trick works with 303, too, btw. I used to do my fiberglass boat with 303 and had to do that trick. It beaded water like wax.

I don't know how well Ice does in car washes, but most of the year, I had wash only with microfiber cotton mits and Ice car wash soap. In the winter, I use a touchless car wash. The Ice lasts a good long time and beads like crazy even after a few months.
