Hello all
No it’s not a new Mike Oldfield release…
I love my Nacho Rubicon with the hardtop and doors off. I fitted the RR tubular doors and they are great.
One small issue is that the alarm keeps going off if I lock the vehicle. I’m guessing the interior sensors. Any way to lock and disable there or another solution as it’s near impossible to park up and lock with no alarm now.
thanks

I'd be more worried about the joker who put steering wheel on the wrong side! Sorry I can't help you as I have a Sport S here in the states with no alarm. But I must say those doors look great on Nacho!
Oh its 40c + here in Arizona so the top was up...

While annoying, why are you locking it with tube doors? I guess just to lock the tailgate?

(Mike Oldfield joke was on point, BTW)
I guess I don’t know really. It just feels natural to hit the lock button but what am I locking really?

I guess the question is what do I actually lock / immobilise by hitting the lock button with tubular doors over and above not hotting the lock Button.

Just to clarify, does the same thing happen with no doors at all? Or only when the tube doors are on? I ask because I have my doors off almost all summer and have no issue with the alarm going off when it is locked. Even if the kids are climbing around inside playing.

And yes we lock it so the tailgate is locked.

Hmm, we have the RR front tubes, leave the back on for the dogs.

We still lock, I’ve had the alarm go off manually unlocking and opening the rears, but not randomly.

Well. The tailgate I guess. You should hear it lock when you take off though?

Yeah I guess there are 2 ways to go here, so it depends upon how important it is to have that rear underfloor storage be secured. If it doesn't really matter, I don't think there's any harm in leaving it unlocked.

Since my door and roof are off so much, I also have a diabolical slipstream installed. So locking the tailgate is the foundation of my secure storage space. So, for me, I would be troubleshooting what it setting off the alarm.
