Guys don't wait for this stuff at the dealer, the Jeep Wave program gives you a free vehicle for the day while repairs are done. I've used one a couple of times for warranty repairs.
I've tried to use to Jeep Wave program for a free loaner while my JLUR is in for warranty work(cruise control recall). The local dealer advised no loaner vehicles available. I hate being offered a benefit and than when you need it, they come up with excuses. Poor business practices in my book.

My jeep is having the exact symptoms i.e. speakers pop, radio freezes / turns off, slow response to commands. I took it to the dealership and after an entire day they only did a hard restart to the system, which did not fix the issue.... So I am a little frustrated to know that this update is out there but they didn't know about it.

If you are working with a smaller dealership, they may not have the capacity/capability to offer loaner vehicles. Since dealers are independently owned and operated, we unfortunately have no control over the loaner options a dealer can offer. However, nvabill is correct. You can always reach out to your Jeep Wave agents who can look into all avenues of assistance further.

I have only had one issue with my radio resetting...until this morning. The real annoying part is that my clock resets to 12:00.

I have a problem with the stereo (8.4 w/nav and Alpine) shutting off. Black sceen. Then it seems to start up like it is rebooting? Is this issue part of the recall?

Called and scheduled service for my JLUSportS w/ Tech + Alpine specifically asking for the uConnect update along with the cruise control fix. Was told over the phone and in the morning when I dropped it off on 7/5 that they had the update and would perform it. When I pick it up later that day I was told it was not available for my vehicle.... Anyone else get the run around? Echo on phone calls renders the hand free useless.

I'm sorry but this is a horrible issue to experience making the Bluetooth useless and it's rediculous that it isn't resolved yet for anyone even though the "fix" was released over a month ago.

Seems like Grava Jeep has a bit to learn about customer service yet. I understand your disappointment.
Let's hope FCA doesn't let their dealers become like Harley let its dealers get. Harley is in real trouble and won't rein their dealers in and make them be honest and decent to the customers. Shame.
All IMO, of course, but I've seen it happen.

If a Uconnect update is out there we should all have access to it and not have to make an appointment at the dealer and possibly have to leave your vehicle all day for a software update

If itā€™s a tested update it should go without a hitch, now say if you do the update and donā€™t follow the instructions like shutting off you vehicle in the middle of the update then itā€™s going to cause problems, we all have been around computers for many years now and some are more tech savvy than others, Iā€™m more of a mechanical guy like in if I take something apart I can usually get it back together now hand me a new smartphone and tell me to activate it thatā€™s a whole different story but I do my own computer updates and just am patient doing so but I can see your point but I also donā€™t want to have to take my Jeep to the dealer to have them have it all day to do a 90 min update, case in point I took my JLU recently to the dealer for what I considered small issues ( software update, check the charging system, replace a door seal, clicking noise in front end ) they had the Jeep for four days which I considered unacceptable but then Iā€™m sure all warranty work gets pushed to the back.

If someone has the files can they please upload? The dealer won't do it since eit won't come up when the input the vin even though the SB says to update even if the vin doesn't come up and the problem persists!
