For those who are looking to fix this themselves and would like to order the part online we have established a more affordable flat rate shipping cost for this specific part.

It can be purchased here https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-jeep-wrangler-jl-rear-washer-check-valve-68438075aa

Thank you,
Benny
Terrific, Benny! Thanks much!

I'm sure a lot of guys will buy this through your outfit. Sure a better way to go then driving to the dealer, frigging around with them, letting them fool with your Jl, etc....

Went to install mine and that hose will not come off the nozzle on the window. I pulled pretty hard and nothing. I twisted pulled. Don't want to break anything. Suggestions? (aside from "pull harder")

Don't pull it off. Just measure the two inches back, cut it, and insert the check valve.

Of course! duh. I'm an idiot. Can I say its because I had not had coffee yet?
I think the TSB writer was paid by the number of words and pictures. When I read the TSB, I couldn't think of a reason for removing, cutting, and then replacing the tube end.

As a side note: I took the TSB into the dealer yesterday along with an obvious trail of dirt down the back window from the dripping nozzle. Perfect replication of the TSB photo. My service writer agreed to the fix. Told her give me the check valve, write up a warranty claim, and I'd sign it. Under no circumstances was she going to let me install it ... best I could do was get her to agree to bring the mechanic up front to install the check valve when it arrives in parts. A no waiting fix!

Finally got around to installing this check valve thing after having it for about a week,

I left the hose connected to the rear glass and just cut it 2” back and then attached it with arrow pointing towards nozzle and then attached the other end , I did cut about 1” of the hose out to make up for the check.

It took me all of about 2 mins to do, I could have taken it to the dealer but had to make an appointment and drop it off so spending the $4 was well worth it.

My service writer followed through with her promise. They took the Jeep back into the shop, but it took just a few minutes at most to be back on the road. PS ... the bill to FCA was just short of $25 ...

Well, Summer ... warm weather is on the way... I'm sure there will still be some, possibly many facing the drips... drips on their JL. (2018's) that can be annoying but easily fixed.

I fixed the drip on my 2018 JL with the addition of the valve mentioned in the TSB.

Anyway, for those that aren't aware there is a fix, so read this whole thread..
