Finally took a trip to Stoney Lonesome this last weekend to try Badge of Honor Trail #404. Don't know what the park used to be like, but it seems like a bit of a ghost town now. We rented a cabin and the whole place seems very nice...just not a whole lot of people there. Thought it was kind of odd that when I went to the office to purchase some firewood after we were done riding, she made me verbally tell her that I was off the trails and ok. I was standing in front of her when she (with a straight face) made this request. Combine that with the fact that we had to be off the trails by 6pm and I just don't know that we will go back. Did get some cool pics though...

If all goes according to plan, I’m going Saturday (August 17, 2019). I live about an hour away. Our Jeep club is meeting with a sister club to go.

Two of the three honor badge trails are currently closed. One is closed for safety reasons (Switchback) One is closed for grading/renovation (Gutbuster). 404 is open and waiting.
