Any sane person would have offloaded this Jeep years ago so I really don't know what's wrong with me. 🤷‍♀️

In good news I let the Noco charge overnight and it's blinking green and in maintenance mode. Turns out I just wasn't patient enough (which may be part of the answer to the above question of what's wrong with me). 😂

Perfect! Whenever you get back it should start right up.

I'm actually not going anywhere. The Jeep needs a new axle so it will be hooked up to the charger until that can happen OR I sell it.

Hello Group, I just stumbled upon this post. I just hooked up a Noco 10 to my 2025 V6 Rubicon that will be in the garage all winter. I don't want to beat a dead horse, but is this the proper way to charge the main and auxiliary battery ?

Yes you are correct and I misspoke (mis-typed?). I just checked and it is now solid green.

We have a big rain storm coming this week and the Jeep is covered but I'll check it again once the rain has stopped and make sure everything is still ok under the hood.

I charge my duel 750-25’s separately and it normally goes straight to 100 but takes 12+ hrs to condition ( blinking green) then solid green and in standby. I usually charge/condition them every 2-3 months just to keep them healthy, I do a lot of short trips since I’m retired.

This is the first time I'm really dealing with having to keep a battery charged. For 6 years it was my daily driver so it never sat very long.

I use CTEK tenders on my cars and boats. Not the cheapest, but have worked great for years. Porsche branded the sets are made by CTEK as well.

Haha! Nice. The only way you would know that as well is if you or a friend or a seller knew that little detail. Definitely not common knowledge.

"The 2 CTEKs are a bit long in the tooth as they predate NOCO. They were top of the line smart back in the day. Being recommended and rebranded sold by Porsche."

That would get the job done. If you get one of their extension cables you may be able mount the unit in your garage. I have hardwire on the bike that it plugs into.

This is what I use on my bike and it works great.

Will, I'm just getting ready to connect that to my 2022 JLR with the 3.6 eTorque. I'm going to connect the cables right to the battery with quick connects that go to the charger using Noco's cable extension. Is there any preffed way to do this with the eTorque? I was going to use the eye connectors on the ext cable and connect them right to the bolt on the connector that secures the main cables to the 12 v battery. Does that sound like a good spot to connect it to?

A friend recommended the Noco Genius 1 1Amp smart charger, Amazon $30.00. I got it to keep the dual battery system on my 2020 JLD tuned up. Liked it so much I got one for my antique Porsche and then one for my Kubota mini tractor. Would definitely purchase again.

I ran the ring terminals to the battery connections on the main battery. No issues.,
