My rear quarter panel discovered The stubby end of a tree branch that had been cut, when I slid sideways a bit crawling up a rock this weekend. Definitely put a bummer in the trip. But that’s what I get for going solo without a spotter. Lessons learned.

Looking for advice:
1. Try to get it worked out, bondo, paint, etc. or
2. Replace the panel all together.

If replace - how difficult is it to get this quarter panel off / on?

The rear corner also got smushed and popped the taillight off. I think I can fix this to fit the the taillight again properly. Will need a new taillight likely since it broke the plastic anchoring piece.

Also will welcome offers from anyone selling these parts!

thanks in advance!

I'd probably replace the panel but I was burned by bondo at an early age (on a Datsun) and I will never, ever forgive it.

If the body shop can hammer it out, it might be ok with paint. Otherwise, replace the panel. You'll never be happy for long with bondo.

Replace. I have zero idea how to do that other than driving to Jim’s Autobody Jeep Joint.

If you do want to fix it yourself, you might local junk yards to see if they have the panel. Might be your cheapest option.
