Travel Trailer options for 2-door

Im hoping to see some examples you guys have of a lightweight travel trailer that you recommend and the Jeep manages well

I have a manual transmission so i know the tow capacity is slightly lower - but what do you guys have????

You may get varying answers, but my guess with a 2 door you’re going to be limited to mostly teardrops and pop up campers. I think the 2 door tops out at 2000lbs / 200lbs tongue weight.

There's a lot of options out there, both on-road and off-road, just have to keep it below 2000 lbs fully loaded up. The short wheelbase of the 2dr is not conducive to towing. Not sure exactly what you want, but it is going to limit you to tiny teardrops or utility trailers w/ RTT.

I ordered a hiker trailer mid range off road. It is a 5x8 squaredrop, 1000lbs dry weight so perfect for the JL. Check them out they make great trailers for an awesome price.

I have read a 13' Scamp trailer can be pulled by a 2 door Jeep. Something I have wanted to get actually, right now I pull a custom build tear drop.

There are some really nice little tent trailers that are designed to be pulled by a motorcycle. One of those would give more room inside than some of the smaller teardrops, and would be very easy for your JL to tow.

I‘m torn between an RTT and small trailer.

Afraid the former will be too top heavy on a two door and the latter will get stolen or violated by Dirty Mike and the Boys when it’s detached.

May end up removing my front passenger seat.
