hi, desperate for help since my jeep is driving me crazy for sometime and I an stuck, issue started while driving got Christmas lights and all kind of errors and jeep went into park mode and could not drive, had to toe to the garage, few days later after replacing both batteries and checking everything electric and connectors and after a reset the jeep drove ok for a few days, then deleted the aux battery and the fuze and all was ok then again the same problem and it only shows error code u0101 and the transmission temp goes up to 205c degree.

if relevant the jeep has tazer, 35inch tires, winch an ARB compressor, all connection point and electric points got checked and eliminated during the investigation

the jeep is 2022, the and is not subjected to the heat exchanger known issue it uses the new part.

we are wondering if anybody was hit with this and what was the fix, is this an electric cable problem? a lose connection point ? grounding point? a transmission? a dcm or whatever computer issue? or a mechanical problem with the grar?

why the problem only appears randomly and no real way to reproduce it, sometimes after 2 mins drive the error goes on sometimes after 4 days etc..

we are really stuck and looping for help on whats best way to diagnose and eventually solve the problem

thanks team

First thing I would do is unmarry & remove the Tazer. Probably not the problem but it is one of the easy things to try. After that I would replace the green star connector behind the glove box.

Somewhat common when you are experiencing electrical problems.

The other part that often comes up in these weird electrical gremlin threads is the high amp fuse array near the main battery and the wire harness behind the front passenger fender. The high amp fuse array can sometimes blow and cause weird issues. The wire harness behind front passenger fender can sometimes wear through and cause glitchy electronics, often related to transmissions.

Yes common to fail. Just replace it, there’s no other way to know. You can sometimes disassemble them and find a little burn spot on the circuit board inside but often it looks just fine.

As best as you can, check the wiring between the transmission and the ECM. There is a wiring schematic somewhere on this website. Some models have had issues where the harness runs close to the exhaust system and need more insulation.

Also check the ECM wiring harness, first for obvious signs of damage, then gently touch the wires at the ECM while the engine is running. I had two loose connections in the ECM harness that would act up when it was cool and damp resulting in a bunch of nonsensical can bus errors. As the connections got worse, hitting a bump or rough stretch of road.

Somewhere on this website is a good description of ground points. A loose ground could cause your problem.

If all else fails, youths in Asia may be the only solution. You can borrow my M2HB to get it done.

no, but there's quite a few threads about it on the forums already. remove r/f fender liner and you'll see a big connector along the firewall that goes to the bellhousing area. you'll want to cut and solder the power/ground wires around the connector. there's a 12v and a pink/yellow ignition run for power and a black wire for ground.

If it’s in either of these two pics could you point it out? i have my inner fender off to run some wiring.
