Has anyone done this in a Jeep or equivalent? Particularly the Ontario section?
Does anyone know of any good forums for topics like this?

Hey FrostQ,

I’m actually thinking on doing some of the Ontario section this summer. I might have actually done some of it a few years ago on my Dual Sport bikes (KTM 950 Adventure/KTM 450EXC) but not sure if that was part of it or not (there is a long story there).

Have you seen or come across the OF4WD website? or the COORJC club?

But, back to the route, I am still researching - I’m planning on doing some early July possibly from Thunder Bay to Wawa as I’ll be driving to BC that 1st weekend of July.

Shoot me a message and we can chat if you like.

Dennis

Yeah, I've come across this. I ride a Tiger 800, and have long dreamed of doing the route on 2-wheels. Family dynamics have changed and now only 4 wheeled adventures are in the foreseeable future.

I'm going to go on OF4WD and COORJC and see what they have posted about this. Thank for the heads-up.
I haven’t seen anything from OF4WD or COORJC on it, but they might be good resources. I’m new to Jeeps, and as I’ve said I’m also from a 2 wheeled world. I’m planning on doing the Rookie Runs with them.

The COORJC FB page has a section with Mentors, I think one of the guys is good with route planning, that might be an option as well.
