12 things Wrangler has Bronco needs:
  1. A front solid axle
  2. A real swaybar disconnect
  3. A wide selection of capable power trains
  4. A hardtop that works
  5. An engine bay that doesnā€™t look like the engine blew up
  6. A soft top with a cargo access that is not ridiculous to open
  7. Is easy to lift and modify
  8. No dealer games or ridiculous markups
  9. Availability
  10. A well finished interior
  11. Availability
  12. Is not a Ford

This guy is almost as bad as the lite brite channel lol. Two youtube channels I've gone out of my way to make sure they stop showing up on my recommendations.
Iā€™m right with you

Did TrailRecon purchase their Bronco with their own money or did they get it ā€œcompedā€ by Ford like Justin B McBride? Some YouTube channels are run by true enthusiasts while others are not much more than the wheeling equivalent of the Kardashians.

Keep in mind his underlying motivation to buy anything is driven by its ability to generate clicks.

In a way, Bronco is a better match for him than a Jeep Wrangler: his channel prioritizes looks over function, and is always drawn by the new bright shiny thing.

So many of these ā€œthis feature is betterā€ is just subjective, and imo a waste of time constantly comparing.

I find Jeep seats to be plenty comfortable, and Ford seats (on a few vehicles Iā€™ve owners & many Iā€™ve rented) to be very uncomfortable.

Will be interesting to see if the frameless windows have issues staying in the tracks over time vs framed windows. The window frames on the Jeep also make it very easy to lift the doors off.

I agree the button placement could be better on the Jeep, but to be honest 98% of owners wonā€™t use those aux buttons.

Also subjective, imo the Bronco is ugly. At roughly 200k annual sales, Wranglers definitely arenā€™t hurting.

One thing it needs is a little stronger front arms. lol

go to about 2:15 in video

All these videos popping up of brand-new Broncos breaking parts reminds us why Jeeps have been the off-road vehicles of choice for 80 years.
