Trail exhaust - AWE or Borla climber touring?

Looking to upgrade my exhaust. Primary goals are improved clearance and a mild-moderate improvement in sound. This is a Jeep, so I'm not expecting an awe inspiring note - I just don't want super loud. I use to have a new 2004 STi w a 3.5" catless exhaust. To me that was moderate to loud as a point of reference. Full drag cars are loud / very loud.

These two I'm leaning towards? Any first hand experience or recommendations?

i think the Awe will be significantly louder than the borla touring. Did you listen to the Awe exhaust videos? I think they sound awe-some lol i have their trail exhaust on order. I was going to get the borla until i saw the release of the awe exhaust

I did - the one with the blue gladiator. Didn't see anything else...

there isnt a video out yet of a wrangler with the awe trail exhaust, but an awe Rep mentioned that the resonated mid pipe + the tread axle back is very close to the trail catback

I recently installed the Borla Touring. I like it, its a little quieter than I thought it would be. However, in conjuction with the intake, it all sounds pretty good and gives it a little more oomph.

Maybe the Type-S would have a little more growl.
