So I have a 2021 Jeep Willy’s 3 inch lift fox shocks on 35s with 55,000 miles. Just seeing a Rubicon on the trails makes everything look so easy compared to my Willy’s I want a Rubicon but don’t know if it is worth it?

Well, it sounds like you got your Willy's right about where you want it. Personally, I love the sound of a Willy's. Call me old school, call me nostalgic, tell me I'm living in the past whatever! There's just something special about a Willy's to me.

By making everything look so easy are you referring to locking differential gears? If yes than just get your Willy's to the nearest off-road/gear shop and call it a day.

My question: Is it OK if I add Willy's decals to my Sport or is this against code?

Making it look easy may be the driver.

For less than the cost of the beating you’ll take on a trade, have 4.56 gears put in the diffs and TruTrac limited slips put in front and rear. It’ll save you labor money to have it all done at once.

It’s definitely acceptable to add the nostalgic 4WD rear sticker ( I’ve considered it), the hood ,🤔, the Sport guys will give you a pass— the Rubi guys typically only get upset with fake Rubi’s— doubt if the Sahara crowd cares, most Willys drivers will likely chuckle or shrug it off . What the he!!, go for it 🤫 maybe they won’t notice.. Besides, there hasn’t been a real Willys since 1963 😉

Why not a 24 Willys? You get upgraded axles, 4.10s and rear locker? Unless you really need the front locker and 4:1 t case, it seems like the better deal that a 23 Rubicon....

Or just wheel what you've got (my suggestion).

Putting lockers and gears on yours is much cheaper than another round of payments on a new Jeep (and new Jeep problems). Better the devil you know than the one you don't.

I have a 21' WILLYS as well.. 3 inch lift.. Fox shocks.. JKS track bar.. Fox steering stabilizer.. 35x12.5 on 17x9 Fuel wheels.. teraflex spare carrier and hinge support.. plus some other stuff.. I like rubicons but after all this work and money.. dont want to start over.. lol.. I love my WILLYS. I think the only thing I would consider is a 392.. but that's not in the budget.. Im gonna rock my WILLYS for a LOOOONG time. It handles the type of stuff I do very well.. if you are dead set on wanting a rubicon.. go for it.. its your jeep and your money bro.. do what makes you happy.

You could add all that stuff to your current Jeep, but if you can get good money on your current Jeep, it might be worth considering.

You aren't ever going to get out what you put into your Jeep, but if you get a Rubicon with factory lockers and gears it will hold better value than adding them to your current Jeep.

If you plan to keep your Jeep long term, this may not matter. Just a different angle to look at it as everyone's situation is different.

Coming from a Rubicon owner if I were you I would put lockers and a manual sway bar disconnect on your Willy’s and go out and rock the trails. I’d much rather have lockers and disconnects that I choose when and at what speed I can use them than to let the computer in the rubicon decide for me. Sounds like you have a nice setup already, just build on that.

I say, it would be much cooler if you made it look easy in a Willys...
