For those that had frames numbers within the recall range and passed without needing a reweld repair, what does your online recall status state? Does it state “repaired” or something else, such as “passed”?
“Repaired” implies something was actually repaired although Jeep might be using this term for a Jeep that required no repair.
Just checked mopar.com and it shows UA5 status as “complete.”The Jeep iPhone app previously showed “recall ua5” was not completed. Now it shows nothing. No history of it. Maybe the website shows more...
Sounds like inept employees to me! As a courtesy they should fill your tank free! (I'm a customer service analyst and we do things out of courtesy all the time just to keep a customer happy even when damages, etc are obviously their fault & in this case youre being totally inconvenienced!).This is getting so completely frustrating. Has anyone been called back this many times? I just got a call that I have to bring my Jeep in for a THIRD set of pictures! My dealership is 45 minutes away from me. How many times should I have to pay for gas and take time out before this revolving door stops? I don't know if it's FCA changing what they want in a picture or the fault of the dealer taking the pictures. And they won't even look at my other welds.
How do these look? I had an inspection and they told me it passed.

I ordered a new Rubicon unlimited end of August It was stalled in shipping waiting for the track weld inspection. Jeep cleared the weld and it arrived on Nov 16. Due to the many posts on weld issues I had the dealer put the Rubicon on a lift and I went over it looking at all the welds. I only found one that was extremely troubling - front axle tube weld in pic attached. Right side weld was so bad someone added a small weld somewhere in the build/inspection process. I refused the Rubicon and will await improvements. Just wanted to give back a little to the group
On the Mopar web site, it shows "Complete" under My Vehicle. Passed inspection. Hmm seems like I pretty much called it.I have no horse in this race but the smoke screen is working. Look at all the posts. Took it in they looked at my track bar weld and said it's ok and I'm done.
I'd take that picture in post #1013 contact FCA and say they have a bigger problem and that they need to pay for an independent inspection by a CWI or take the Jeep back.
Not to be crass but you all are letting FCA bend you over.
I just looked. Mine was " passed" after the 3rd set of pictures and is listed as "repaired" even though nothing was done. For those that had frames numbers within the recall range and passed without needing a reweld repair, what does your online recall status state?
