While I'm going to have to take your word for it, I have doubts their constitutions outline the very narrow powers their federal government has, leaving the rest to the states.Yes, in all three cases. Most countries have constitutions. In Germany, it's called the Basic Law for the Federal Republic (let's not kid ourselves, it's a constitution).
You're not different because of the genius of your constitution. You're different because you're the only developed country who's still stubborn enough to not give yourself a proper healthcare system. At this point, I guess you don't even know why, anymore. It's just who you are. And it's perfectly fine.
I'm not different than most people in that I don't trust the state government to have my best interests in mind. We will leave the federal government out of it because they simply don't have the authority to take over healthcare.
I think there's one state (Massachusetts) that has some form of state run healthcare. And thats fine. It's literally the point of our Republic. They can do it their way, we in TX will do it our way.
