Lived in Europe for a while and my dad was traveling back and forth from the states to France. He had a medical emergency in the little town he was living in. Took him 2 hours by ambulance, in the hospital for a week, 2 heart specialist (one was a surgeon) checking on him hourly and his "private" nurse (he said it was always the same girl everytime). Whole thing cost him 250 USD. Would have been nothing if his duel citizenship had gone through at that time. I don't understand why most of us down here are so scared of a single payer, universal system.Just let the Yankees think we pay hundreds of billions for a crappy system (as reported by FOX News). They like to think it can't be done in the USA. Meanwhile, we know it's quite good.
Glad you're all good though, you'll get another, patience is key. I hate waiting too.
