A bit of nicer weather and I got the itch. Took my 35’s and rims to get put together and threw them on. Got the teraflex spacer lift in a few weeks ago. A bit of an old school look with the polished wheels. Nice little Monday.

you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a JL on 37’s around here. Plus I was 1800$ cdn all in for 5 tires. I’ll Prolly go bigger when I have a proper lift kit.

Lol, thanks. Couldn’t pass them up, good ol kijiji deal. The guy mounted them on his JT, didn’t like them and went with something else the next day. He was asking $600. I offered $500 and after I got there he took $400 for all 5 rims because he thought he lost the Center caps and lug nuts he promised in the ad. They wound up being in one of the boxes, found em when I got home

Tossing wheels. Swinging dead cats. Interesting hobbies you have.

What bumper is that on the front? Do you have a pic that shows the front of the vehicle?

It’s the OEM hardrock from an anniversary JK. It was a bit tough so I had it line-x’d.

So after having the 35’s for a few months I realized that I didn’t like the amount of space between the fender and top of the tyre so I went to 37” ko2’s instead. I spend wayyyy to much time staring at my keep, and it probably looked fine, but for me I needed to close that gap a bit. For the 2 times a year I’ll likely go wheeling the a/t’s made way more sense, and I can run them year round amd not have too many worries on the snowy commutes to work and I don’t have to keep 2 sets of wheels/tyres. The lift is the teraflex spacer kit with shock extenders and the fox shocks from a JT rubi, and rough country adjustable trac bars front and rear. I did put in the bump stop extensions for 37’s when I installed the spacer lift, so I should have no issues there. I’ll go with a proper lift kit in the spring, still deciding on what to go with.
