74 ft/lbs then turn another 50 degrees or rotation. Yeah, those suck. What does the degrees spec mean? I don't have knowledge of working on suspension components.
Lower control arm rear nut 74 +50°
ThisIve seen like 4 different sources with different torque specs... No idea which are correct. Some items are not at all close to the same torque...
At least you can get your breaker bar and finish them off if your torque wrench will be maxed out close to that listed initial torque value74 ft/lbs then turn another 50 degrees or rotation. Yeah, those suck.
I do not have access to the online version to adjust my documentation but if somebody can provide the data I will update it.There are many differences in torque values between this (offline USB version of the service manual) and an online service manual (available via Mopar tech authority subscription). While most of the differences are withing 10%, which is not good, but usually not dangerous, some differences are on the extreme end:
For example, old offline version:
Left engine mount isolator to engine block bolts -- 41 ft lbs
Left engine mount isolator to frame nuts -- 85 ft lbs
Online version (as captured 3 months ago):
Left Engine Mount Isolator to Engine Block Bolts -- 48 ft lbs
Left Engine Mount Isolator to Frame Nuts -- 36 ft lbs
Almost 2.5 times difference for the same nut
