What is the top-5 JL accessories / modifications (minor) most Jeepers do? I would have to say these are the top 5 MUST HAVES that are most important to me (no specific order):
1. Antenna (paint the OEM black or replace it with a stubby)
2. Center console tray
3. Window tint
4. Mobile device mount/cradle (RAM)
5. Gas cap door

**Runner ups are removing the front bumper to fender flare euro panels, wheel locks and all-weather floor mats (front, rear and trunk).

Door sill guards. Clear film works even better.

Front mud flaps if you don’t want the paint on your door hinges chipped.

Be aware that a stubby antenna will hinder reception.

1. Locking hood (Bolt) and fuel cap (OEM).
2. Stubby antenna.
3. Center console organizer, or security safe.
4. Robust all-weather floor mats (the OEM carpeted mats are comically cheap)
5. Sill guards

I had a stubby and it was awful, so swapped the whip oem back on plus a few cotes of matte black. Mud flaps are a great idea, I already got a hinge chip.

My list:
1. Phone mount (RAM)
2. Stubby antenna
3. Mic handset mount (already had the radio)
4. Mesh top
5. Neoprene seat covers.

More expensive immediate upgrades: stubby bumper, winch, light bar, trail doors.

x2 on the stubby, cool to look at but no bueno as an antenna, so I'm back w/ the stocker too, and it makes a good roof clearance guide too!

I do stubby because the large whip gets caught on branches on the trails, and then... whips...

I will totally agree that stubby antennas are terrible for reception. I laugh at all the ones that say their 3" antenna is as good as the stock one. Dude... it literally doesn't work like that....

The whip probably has the best reception, but I can see how it could get in the way off-roading.
