Here’s one that not one person had mentioned. How about getting you’re new Jeep “without” any dents in the doors????? Every Jeep has dents in at least one to Two doors, primarily the drivers door. Go look at your Jeep, we all paid FCA for our Jeeps with dents in the doors coming from the factory.

How did FORD figure this out? The new Bronco doesn’t have dents in its doors.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my Rubicon, just wished after paying 50,000 it came without dents from the factory. If my Jeep has dents, I’d like to be the one putting them on my Jeep, not FCA.
Yes, they all have dents by the front door lower hinge. No charge feature I guess.

To this I will add a front passenger seat that folds flat. I’d love to sleep in my two door when I solo camp without curling up in a ball.
That would be a fantastic option, or standard equipment. I also have a 2-door and sometimes sleep in the Jeep when I camp.

How about slide-opening, rear side windows as an option on both the 2-door and 4-door hardtop models?

On my 2-door, I get tremendous wind buffeting when the driver and passenger side windows are open at freeway speeds. Sliding open rear side windows would eliminate that.

The ability to open the tailgate from the inside. We often eat in the back of mine if its raining hard while offroad, and its a hassle climbing up front to get out after closing it.

Have you tried sliding the passenger seat all the way forward, and sleeping diagonally? Not sure of your height, but I'm 6'0 and can stretch out that way with my main issue then being where to stack all my gear.

Now me. . . fill the hollow gap in the hard top with some kind of insulation foam that will reduce the temperature (measured at 165 degrees outside on the top and 155 degrees inside on a 88 degree day) and that will also reduce noise so it doesn't sound like a drum from hell in the rain or the drive-thru car wash

The date is January 19th, 2021. What will people complain about today?
These type of treads are a good thing if Jeep were to read it so they can see what owners want/don't like for the redesign. I get your sentiment though, but complaining isn't always a bad thing.

I can pretty much live with everything on this JL but the one thing that really gets me going is the fact that when it rains and I open the door my leg gets soaked every fucking time.
Good to know it's not just me.

1. brighter LEDs in the interior. The lighting is terrible and an easy fix. $1-2 bucks maybe for brighter LEDS.
Is there a forum post on how to do this?
Tried searching but my search skills must need some honing.

Hoping it is as simple as buying a particular bulb on Amazon and replacing :)

Great timing, I just put six in my jeep last night on my 2021 got them on Amazon for 35 bucks I had them on my 2018 as rock lights as well as in the interior never had any issues. Cool thing is you get six of them for 35 bucks took me about an hour to hook them all up.

Yes what you said about the gear storage becoming awkward.

2. allow no-clutch in-gear 4L starts (i.e. make it actually work like the OM describes; right now the OM is wrong. Yep, I've had this confirmed by dealer and Jeep).
You may already know this and still have a complaint, but just in case you (or others) don’t . . . You can start in 4L without the clutch PROVIDED that it is after a stall. After stalling (accidentally or on purpose) you have about 20 seconds to restart without using the clutch. The message on the dash indicates that for that time, and if you don’t restart during that period the message and starting procedure changes back to “normal.”

It’s not ideal but it does work
